Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using sunreadysolar.com.au (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Site.

SunReady Solar ("we", "us", "our") reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

About the service

SunReady Solar is a free solar education and installer-matching service for Australian homeowners. We provide:

• Educational guides and articles about residential solar energy
• Interactive tools including a savings calculator and quote checklist
• A free quote request service that connects you with one CEC-accredited solar installer in your area

We are an independent information service, not a solar retailer, solar installer, or financial advisor. We do not install solar systems, sell solar equipment, or provide regulated financial advice.

Installer matching service

When you submit a quote request, we share your contact details with one installer only — the highest-rated CEC-accredited installer available in your postcode. By submitting a request you consent to that installer contacting you to arrange an obligation-free assessment.

SunReady Solar:

• Does not guarantee any specific outcome from the installer contact
• Does not set, negotiate, or guarantee pricing from any installer
• Is not a party to any contract between you and an installer
• Receives a referral fee from installers when an introduction is made

Any agreement you enter into with an installer is solely between you and that installer. We encourage you to conduct your own due diligence and obtain multiple quotes before committing.

Calculator and tool accuracy

Our savings calculator and other interactive tools produce estimates only. Actual savings depend on many factors including your specific electricity usage patterns, roof orientation, shading, installer pricing, and changes to feed-in tariff rates or government incentives.

Tool outputs must not be treated as financial projections, investment advice, or binding quotes. We update our data inputs regularly but cannot guarantee they reflect current tariff rates in real time. Always obtain a written quote from a qualified installer before making any purchasing decision.

Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, guides, tool code, and layout — is owned by or licensed to SunReady Solar. You may:

• View, print, and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use
• Link to pages on this Site from your own website or social media

You may not:

• Reproduce substantial portions of the Site's content for commercial purposes without written permission
• Scrape, copy, or republish our guides or tool outputs in bulk
• Represent our content as your own

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in quote requests
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site's infrastructure or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the Site
• Engage in any activity that violates Australian law

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, SunReady Solar and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from:

• Reliance on information, guides, or tool outputs published on the Site
• Any dealings between you and a matched installer
• Interruption or unavailability of the Site
• Errors or inaccuracies in our content

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
